Is-sinjal għal IRLANDA TA’ FUQ isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-saba’ tan-nofs maħruġ iktar mill-oħrajn u l-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ T u titwaqqaf fil-ġenb. L-ewwel id tersaq lejn id-driegħ l-ieħor u s-saba’ tan-nofs jagħmel moviment qisu qed jiġbed il-kordi ta’ l-arpa. Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal FUQ, jiġifieri, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 u l-id timxi f’linja dritta ’l fuq.

The sign for Northern Ireland is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 5 with the middle finger jutting out a little whilst the other hand takes the shape of T and is held upright at the side. The first hand moves towards the other arm and the middle finger makes a pulling movement resembling that used to play the harp. This is followed by the sign for UP, that is, one hand takes the shape of 1 and moves in a straight line upwards.
